We had a super fundraiser – amazing for an off-election-year event. Thank you to all who came and made “May the 4th Be With You” a great success! Thanks to Lana Philips for organizing the food and all of the cooks who brought the delicious salad and desserts. We had a 50” TV, the 50/50 raffle, and the needle felted Yoda for auction items.
We heard speeches from two candidates to challenge Darin LaHood for the 16th Congressional district. I will be nice having challengers for LaHood in the next election. We will keep you posted on Joe Albright and Scott Best. Joe would like to do a Town Hall here in Grundy County…..stay tuned.
